Organization of emission and service of bank cards of international payment systems for agent banks




The Bank of Moscow:

  • has had the status of a principal member of the international payment system VISA International since 1997;
  • has had the status of a principal member of the international payment system Europay (MasterCard Worldwide) International since 1996;
  • is the member of the triplet of leaders of the Russian plastic cards market;
  • has issued over 10 million plastic cards so far;
  • has great experience in realization of card programmes, including joint projects with 85 Moscow and regional banks;
  • has its own Processing Centre certified in accordance with standards of international payment systems;
  • has the Remote Client Service Centre providing round-the-clock assistance to clients-holders of cards of the Bank of Moscow and partner banks;
  • has its own network of cash terminals (over 1400 units over Russia) and retail outlets (over 1500 units).

The Processing Centre of the Bank of Moscow offers sponsor support services to the banks when they join international payment systems: as an Associated member when joining VISA International and as an Affiliated member when joining MasterCard Worldwide. At present over 30 agent banks effect emission and acquiring of cards of International Payment Systems under the sponsorship of the Bank of Moscow.
