Violation of the exchange legislation






Article 15.25 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offences (Federal Law No. 195-FZ dated 30 December 2001) lists the violations of the exchange legislation of the Russian Federation, acts issued by exchange regulation authorities and relevant sanctions.

The procedure for transmitting information about violations to the Bank of Russia is established by:

  • part 9, 10 article 23 of Federal Law No. 173-FZ dated 10 December 2003;
  • Regulation of the Bank of Russia No. 308-P dated 20 July 2007 «Regulation on the procedure for authorised banks to transmit information about violations committed by persons performing currency operations against acts of the exchange legislation of the Russian Federation and acts of exchange regulation authorities», which came into effect on 16 October 2007.
