Individual holders of the cards of the Bank of Moscow are given an opportunity to receive information about the cash flow on the bank card account in the SMS message format.

Each time you pay with your bank card or funds are transferred to your bank card account you immediately receive an SMS message regarding the completed transaction and your account balance.

The SMS-Banking service will allow the shareholders in mutual investment funds managed by the Management Company of the Bank of Moscow and the Pension Reserve Management Company to quickly receive the following information:

  • transactions with MIF shares (purchase/ redemption/ swap)
  • number of MIF share held by the client
  • commencement of the interval for accepting applications for the acquisition and redemption of shares in MIFs,
  • commencement of the formation of new funds,
  • value of shares and value of the fund net assets as of a given date.

The SMS-Banking service will allow the Bank’s borrowers (except credit card holders) to receive information on their mobile phone regarding the amount and date of another payment, actual repayment status, and regarding any loan debts overdue

The service can be used anywhere in the world provided the area is covered by your mobile communication operator.

To be connected to the SMS-Banking service you have to be a subscriber to a cellular network:

  • for Moscow Region clients — MTS, Beeline, MegaPhone-Moscow, Sky Link-Moscow
  • for regional branch clients — MTS, Beeline, MegaPhone North-West, MegaPhone-Povolzhye, MegaPhone Northern Caucases, MegaPhone-Urals, MegaPhone-Centre, MegaPhone-Sibir, MegaPhone-Far East, Baikalvestcom, Uralsvyazinform, Nizhegorodskaya Sotovaya Svyaz, Sky Link-Elaterinburg, SMARTS, Volgograd-GSM, Astrakhan-GSM, Sotovaya Svyaz Motive, Eniseitelecom, Delta-Telecom.

The service is provided to holders of the cards of the Bank of Moscow:

  • at the initial issue of a bank card
  • during personal visit to the Bank’s office/branch with the aim of being connected to the service
  • automatic reconnection when the account is credited (if disconnected earlier due to lack of money)

Holders of shares in MIFs may be connected to the service:

  • when buying MIF shares
  • during personal visit to the Bank’s office/branch with the aim of being connected to the service

The service is provided to the Bank’s borrowers (except credit card holders):

  • when applying for a loan
  • during personal visit to the Bank’s office/branch with the aim of being connected to the service
  • when calling the Bank’s client support service in Moscow: +7 (495) 925-80-00, in regions: 8-800-200-23-26

To be connected to the service when visiting the Bank’s office/branch a client needs to submit an ID and the bank cards issued in the client’s name by the Bank of Moscow (if any).

Documents for connecting to the service.

Once you are connected to the SMS banking system, the Bank will start informing you of changes in the bank card account status or informing borrowers on a monthly basis by sending SMS messages from a special telephone number to the mobile telephone numbers indicated by you when subscribing to the service. By compiling an SMS message of a certain format and sending it to a specified number, you may also acquire from the Bank information on bank card account(s) balance(s) and amounts of monthly instalments or debt at borrowers\' accounts indicated when subscribing to the service.

If you hold shares in SIF\'s managed by UK of the Bank of Moscow company or Pension Reserve company, you may acquire information on your operations of share purchase, repayment or exchange, on opening of intervals in interval SIF\'s, and on formation of new SIF\'s. On your request, you may acquire information on the cost of an investment share and of equities in a SIF as of the date specified in the enquiry, as well as information on the number of shares in your possession and on their cost as of the latest assessment date.

1. Notification of clients of bank card account operations

1.1 SMS notifications come to your mobile phone in Russian words transliterated into Latin.

1.2 All SMS notifications of bank card account operations are structured as follows:

  • name of operation executed
  • short card number (the last four digits are indicated)
  • amount of operation executed with indication of the currency code
  • balance available with indication of the currency code
  • place of execution of operation (address, name of retail outlet, cash terminal number, etc.)

1.3 The following is an example of a notification of a purchase made with the use of a bank card:

2. Bank card balance enquiries

2.1 To acquire information of the balance available on a bank card, send the following SMS message to number 8000:

where XXXX is the short card number (the last four digits of the card number).

2.2 The above-indicated elements of an SMS message may, or may not be separated with spaces.

2.3 In the event of successful processing of your enquiry by the Bank you will receive an SMS message of the following form (example):

balans: 25 700.00 RUR

2.4 In the event of making an error, e.g. if having entered the wrong short card number, you will receive an SMS message indicating the error (example):

card_balance:

3. Credit card enquiries from a mobile phone

3.1. To acquire information on the instalment amount, send the following SMS message to number 8000:

09XXXX56,

3.2 To acquire information on the total debt amount, send the following SMS message to number 8000:

09XXXX55,

where XXXX (in both cases) is the last four digits of the card number

3.3 Notification of borrowers

3.3.1 SMS notifications come to your mobile phone in Russian words transliterated into Latin.

3.3.2 SMS notifications of clients who have no debt contain information on the amount and currency of payment and payment deadlines; SMS notifications of clients who are in arrears additionally contain the date of running into debt; SMS notifications of clients who fail to make monthly instalments in due time contain information on the amount and currency as of the payment date.

4. Borrowers\' enquiries

4.1. To acquire information on the monthly payment amount, send the following SMS message to number 8000:

4.2. To acquire information on the amount of debt for early loan repayment, send the following SMS message to number 8000:

4.3. To acquire information on the minimum early repayment amount, send the following SMS message to number 8000:

In the above types of enquiries, all letters are case insensitive, the first letter A may be either Russian or Latin, and XXXX stands for the last four digits of the account.

Attention of clients of Mobicom Kavkaz company: To connect to the SMS banking system, Mobicom Kavkaz company clients are requested to send an SMS message containing ON to number 8000 from each mobile telephone number indicated when subscribing to the service.

5. SIF notifications and enquiries

5.1. SIF notifications come to your mobile phone in Russian words transliterated into Latin.

5.2. To acquire information on the cost of your shares, send the following SMS message to number 8000:

PIF ZZZ YY.YY.YYYY,

where all letters are case insensitive, ZZZ is the SIF code as per schedule below, YY.YY.YYYY is the share value assessment date in the format DD.MM.YYYY:
